13. INTERNATIONAL TOURISM CARTOON COMPETITION 2021

Conditions of Participation
• The competition is open to all amateur and professional cartoonists.
• Each artist can participate with a maximum of three works.
• The works submitted to the competition may be prepared by original drawing, digital print or computer printout. The drawing technique is free. It can be color or black and white. However, the works must be signed by the artists.
• Participants should write their names, surnames and addresses on the back of their works and send it by adding the relevant information and curator to the cartoon submission page. If desired, you can also participate in the competition by mail.
• Submitted cartoons may have been published elsewhere, but must not have received an award in a competition before.
• The cartoons participating in the competition can be published by Anatolia Tourism Academy in books, catalogues, brochures, postcards, websites and posters related to this organization, and all other publication rights will belong to the owner of the work.
• After the first elimination, the cartoons that made it to the finals will be announced on the website between 1 – 9 February 2022 and objections will be accepted between these dates.
• A selected part of the works participating in the competition will be published as an album. An album will be sent to each artist whose work is included in the album.
• No work will be returned, whether it is ranked or not, whether it is included in the album or not.
• All artists participating in the competition are deemed to have accepted the conditions of participation.
• The last date to apply for the competition is 31 December 2021.

Categories
Works will be accepted in two different categories in the competition.
• Adult Cartoonists Category: It is open to cartoonists aged 17 and over. In this category, “First Prize”, “Second Prize”, “Third Prize”, “Prof. Atila Özer Special Award and three Honorable Mention Awards. All cartoons that made it to the finals in this category will be included in the book.
• Young Cartoonists Category: Cartoonists aged 16 and younger can submit their works to this category. It should be noted that the works were sent to the “Young Cartoonists Category”. One of the works submitted to this category will be awarded the “First Prize” and two works will be awarded the “Achievement Award”. All works that will qualify for the final in the Young Cartoonists category will be included in the book.
Participation form
The works of those who do not fill in the participation form will not be evaluated.
