42nd INTERNATIONAL NASREDDIN HOCA CARTOON COMPETITION 2022 PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
The 42nd Nasreddin Hodja International Cartoon Contest, traditionally organized by the Cartoonists Association, continues for the year 2022. You can participate in the competition, which is open to the participation of all world cartoon artists, until 31 October 2022.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
The subject of the competition is free.
Cartoons must be original drawings.
The cartoons to be sent to the competition must be drawn in 2022.
The competition is open to cartoonists from all over the world.
Must not have received an award in any other competition before.
You can participate in the competition with three cartoons.
The size of the cartoons to be sent must be A4 or A3.
Participants should write their name, surname, address, telephone number and country on the back of their works.
Artists should include their short resumes in their cartoons.
The cartoons must reach the given address by 31 October 2022 at the latest.
Results will be announced on 9 November 2022.
All cartoons participating in the competition will be kept by the Cartoonists Association in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Cartoon and Humor Center. The cartoons of the competition will be collected in an album, the works that will be included in the album and those deemed worthy of exhibition will be selected by the jury. A competition album will be sent to those whose works are exhibited and published in the album. Participants in the competition are deemed to have accepted all conditions.
The person participating in the competition accepts that he/she will be deemed to have transferred the intellectual rights of each work he sent to the Cartoonists Association. Accordingly, the Cartoonists Association will have all intellectual rights, including but not limited to the reproduction, dissemination and processing rights. It can also use these rights through third parties.

Grand Prize: 40.000 ₺
Achievement Awards (5): 8,000 ₺
Special Awards: Special awards to be put by various organizations, associations, newspapers, art magazines, unions, agencies and individuals.
