Applications Started for the 7th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest with the theme ” Life Overcomes Addictions “
This year’s theme of the 7th Cartoon Contest organized by the Green Crescent is “ Life Overcomes Addictions ”. A total of 130 thousand TL cash prize will be distributed to the winners of the competition, whose application deadline has been determined as 31 January 2023. Green Crescent General Manager M. Nurullah Atalan said, “Our priority is to contribute to the raising of generations that are healthy and free from addictions. We look forward to the cartoons of both young people and amateur and professional adults.
Those who want to attend in the 7th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest, which is open to the participation of all amateur and professional cartoonists, can apply at cartooncontest.yesilay.org.tr.
The competition, which will be held for the 7th time this year, objectives to convey the impressive messages they create with the humor they add to their lines by including cartoon artists from all over the world in the fight against addictions.
Theme of the Contest: “Life Overcomes Addictions”
Around this theme; The aim is to raise awareness about the cartoonists’ alcohol, cigarette, substance, gambling and technology addictions that impair the health of our people, prevent them from spending their precious time, and break away from social life. It is requested that the power and impact of healthy life be shared with the world and the youth through the eyes of cartoonists.

CONDITIONS
ISSUE: A maximum of 3 works can be sent, works that have not been published elsewhere, provided that they have not received an award, can participate.
SIZE: A4 or A3
TECHNIQUE: Black and white or color
LANGUAGE: Turkish or English (Writing will be used if necessary. However, visual expression will be prioritized, not verbal/written.)
PARTICIPATION: The artist must submit his cartoons in A4 or A3 size, 300 dpi, maximum 5 MB, in JPG format, via the website by 31 January 2023 at the latest.
