ENTRY CONDITIONS:
- The competition is open to all artists over the age of 18.
- Each artist can participate in the competition with two different original works. The artists participating in the competition are deemed to have donated their works selected for the exhibition to the Trakya University İlhan Koman Sculpture and Painting Museum.
- Participation to the competition is charge of free. Each artwork to be sent must be printed in two copies (photocopies are not accepted). One of them will be included in the collection of Trakya University İlhan Koman Sculpture and Painting Museum and the other one will be used for exhibition purposes. Works participating to the competition will not be sent back.
- Prints made by engraving, linoleum, woodcut, silkscreen and lithography techniques are accepted to the competition. The competition is open to the use of these techniques together.
- The size of the paper to be used in printings should be at least 35×50 cm and the largest 50×70 cm. Prints must be sent in a cardboard, unframed and without a mat. Artworks that do not comply with the dimensions above will not be evaluated.
- The works to be sent to the competition must have been created in last three years.
- Each print must be signed and numbered. On the back side of each work, the artist’s name-surname, work identification (technique, year, size), artist’s e-mail address, telephone and postal address should be written in pencil.
- Artists may deliver their prints by themselves or by post to “Trakya Universitesi Guzel Sanatlar Fakultesi 22050 Karaagaç Edirne/TURKEY” until 09.2021. Artworks to be sent by post / cargo must be sent to the address above by the evening of 30.09.2021 latest. Late applications will not be accepted. Trakya University is not responsible for any loss or damages caused by the posts and cargos.
- Postage expenses of the works belong to the artists.
- Members of the Selection Committee (jury) cannot participate in the competition. If one or more of the jury members cannot participate in the jury, academic staff(s) from Trakya University Faculty of Fine Arts may be invited to the jury.
- All usage rights of the works participating in the exhibition and receiving awards belong to Trakya University.
- The awards will be given at the opening of the exhibition that will be organized by Trakya University. The awards that are not received on the exhibition opening day will be sent by cargo with counterparty-payment.
- Exhibited works will be documented in a catalog. A certificate of participation and the catalog will be sent to the artists whose works are selected to the exhibition by the jury, with counterparty-payment.
- The decision of the selection committee is valid for the matters not specified in the entry conditions.
- Artists participating in the competition are deemed to have accepted the conditions above.

Selection and Exhibition:
The works to be exhibited will be selected from among the works submitted for the competition by the jury and three awards, mention and Esbaskı special award will be determined. The awards of the winners will be given at the exhibition opening that will be organized by Trakya University.
Competition Results:
The results of the competition will be announced in Octobre 2021 at http://guzelsanatlar.trakya.edu.tr/.
Awards:
First Prize: Hahnemühle Printmaking Paper 30 Sheets (78x106cm), Lino Blocks 3 sheets (35×50 cm), 250 ml. Printing Ink 4 pieces.
Second Prize: Hahnemühle Printmaking Paper 30 Sheets (78x106cm), 25×35 cm Zinc Plate 4 pieces.
Third Prize: Hahnemühle Printmaking Paper 25 Sheets (78x106cm), Lino Blocks 2 sheets (35×50 cm).
Mention: Hahnemühle Printmaking Paper 15 Sheets (78x106cm), 25×35 cm Zinc Plate 2 piece.
